Happy Monday! Did you all make it through the snow storm ok? (This is for those of us who live in midwest to eastern US)
Since there are many new readers joining my blog, I figured I would write a few posts about myself, so you all can get to know me a little better. And just to say “Hi, I’m Sarah. I like dogs, and coffee, and chocolate. I like tropical locations, I don’t like running….” Blah, blah, blah…
I thought scenario posts might be a little more fun. Because you really get to know people when you get to “see” them in action. In our case, you get to read what I would do in different situations… 😉

So what would I take with me if I could only take 3 things on a deserted island?
I’ve read or heard people answer this scenario before, and they all try to cheat. They say I’d take my family (that’s not one THING)… I’d take my cupboard of food… you get the idea.
So I am going to try to keep it to 3 actual THINGS… though, if my family could be there, it would be soooo much better….

A Pillow
Yep, you don’t want to be sleeping on the sand or palm leaves. That just sounds highly uncomfortable. If this mama doesn’t get good sleep, well I just don’t function well at all. The term beauty sleep was coined by ladies like myself. It’s a needed thing, people! So, in order to be able to live a good life on this island, this gal needs a pillow!

My Bible
If I just chose one little book, I would get bored of that book real quick. I suppose I could also take “War and Peace” with me but that would just be extremely boring for me. I’d take my Bible. Because for me, I find something new every time I read it. It also is something that brings me great comfort, and if I was stranded on this island from some crazy situation, I might need the peace of reading the words from it. Plus, I got a LOT of time to pass and there are a lot of pages here…

Coffee
As much as I love chocolate, it would probably melt in a sad blob very quickly on a deserted island (assuming it’s in a tropical location). So I’d bring another thing that sadly would get used up rather quickly, but totally worth it. Wanna know the way to me heart? Coffee and chocolate. Nuf said.

Bonus: Soap
Yep, if some how some way I could sneak another thing on this deserted island, it would definitely be soap. Could I get along without it, of course. But it sure would be nice to have a nice bar of Shea Butter or other smell good sudsy goodness with me.
What would YOU bring? Share in the comments what would be your top 3 (or 4) things you’d want to bring.
