Can’t Live Without March Favorites- Mom Life

This post contains affiliate links, which means I may make a small commission at no cost to you. You can see my full disclosure HERE. However, I have purchased ALL of these products and the opinions are my own!

It’s a new month, and time again for my favorites of the last month! All of these items are items that I found useful during this last month. I did a lot of substitute teaching and working from home. So all of the things I am mentioning are things that came useful in my life as a mom!

Backpack

Packing for vacation in a backpack

So for going to the schools twice a week, there were 2 things that I wanted to mention that were so helpful. One is my backpack that you’ve seen me mention before on here. I seriously love this thing. I put my lunch bag and my wallet as well as my iPad to work on projects in there, and it holds it all easily, without being huge.

As I mentioned before I have traveled with this backpack (it fits easily, with room to spare, under an airplane seat), I’ve washed it (and air dried it), and carried to trainings, meetings, and substitute jobs. I get lots of compliments on it and it’s seriously just a cool bag. The best part is I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for it. I bought it on Amazon, and you can see it HERE.

Yeti Travel Mug

The other thing that has been awesome to have is my Yeti travel mug. I wouldn’t have ever bought a Yeti, just because I wouldn’t buy something like that for myself. But my son had gotten it for me for Christmas. I have also traveled with this (empty on an airplane, of course) and I’ve dropped it (on concrete), and it still looks brand new.

For school days, I carry ice water in it and ice will stay in it ALL DAY. I know you can get different tops for them and I am thinking about for summer getting a straw top for mine. This is the best coffee mug I had ever owned. You can find them on Amazon also, look HERE. I also see that they have handles for them… I might have to get one of those… HERE is also the lid and straw.

Marrakesh Hair Oil

Now, since it is now Spring, I’m not sure if it is the same for other places in the country or the world, but it gets REAL WINDY here. I also want to say that my hair has never been super soft, well that I can remember anyways. And I mentioned in my Favorites post in January, my favorite hair mask, which makes my straw-like hair so soft. But I also want to give a shout out to some amazing hair oil that I use before I curl or straighten my hair. MY Marrakesh Oil, Argan & Hemp Oil Hair Styling Elixir has been amazing with the dry winds. I put a pump of this on my ends (maybe half way to my end and down), and sometimes I put what’s left on some flyaway on the top of my head too (but not too much, it IS oil after all).

First, I love the smell. I can’t even describe it… maybe a sweet but natural smell? And I love that it doesn’t make my hair greasy, but it DOES help my dry hair look naturally shiny and healthy. I actually rub the rest into my hands when I’m done with mohair because I love this stuff so much. I got it with my Fab Fit Fun box last year maybe? I would have never tried something like this had I not got it in that box! You can find it HERE on Amazon. It’s actually a pretty great price (for 2!)!

Cadbury Eggs

And because they actually DID come out in March, but won’t last through all of April, I have to give my love to my favorite chocolate one time a year, Cadbury Eggs… If you know me or have been around on the blog for a little while, you know that there are some food items very important to me: tacos, coffee, and CHOCOLATE.

And y’all, when I did some searching, guess what I found… AMAZON HAS THEM CHEAPER THAN I CAN BUY THEM IN THE STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I’m not going to be bathing suit ready by summer…. lol. Do you love them as much as I do? You can find the Cadbury deal HERE… You. Are. Welcome.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Well, short and sweet this time, but to be honest, I don’t want to push things that aren’t truly a favorite. All of the things that I mention each month are things that I’d definitely purchase again (and have many times)!

What are some things that YOU were loving last month? Please share! Thanks for stopping by, check back each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday!
